AEGEE-Europe

AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe) is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations, striving for a democratic, diverse and borderless Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13000 AEGEEans, present in 161 cities in 40 countries all over Europe. Through our activities, we empower students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. We create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as act as their representative towards decision-makers. AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding among young Europeans and brings Europe closer to young people.

European Events

European events organized by AEGEE are gatherings that bring together young people from across Europe to foster cultural exchange, cooperation, and active citizenship. These events provide opportunities for participants to engage in discussions, workshops, training, and social activities.

Summer Universities

AEGEE organizes Summer Universities, which are cultural and educational exchange programs held during the summer months. These programs give students the opportunity to experience different European cities, immerse themselves in new cultures, and participate in a diverse range of activities, such as language courses, workshops, and social events.

Agora

Agora is AEGEE's general assembly, where members from various European cities gather to discuss and shape the future of the organization. It serves as a platform for decision-making, electing board members, and sharing ideas and best practices.
